![]() Machine Type: IMPRESSTIK ROTARY 9000, Servo Motor Drives The IMPRESSTIK Labeler uses a rotary style turret with 3 heads, for multiple label application, as well as cigar band, and neck labels. Also available on this machine, a vacuum belt linear applicator was also engineered into the machine for job flexibility. This provides good quality label application on round containers. IMPORTANT: When creating a label to apply to a tapered wine bottle, you must print your labels in a FB-2 format (front and back on separate webs). This allows us to skew the labels to the degree of taper on the bottle. VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE REQUEST POLY-COAT GLASS COATING ON YOUR WINE BOTTLES, IT WAS DESIGNED FOR USE WITH PRESSURE SENSITIVE, WINE LABEL ADHESIVE. - Front and back labels printed on the same web (FB-1), and or, front and back printed and separate webs, (FB-2). SIGNATURE PREFERS SAME WEB WHEN NOT USING TAPERED BOTTLES. - Labels to be wound industry standard #3, this means, labels will face outside the roll with the RIGHT edge leading. - A minimum of 1\8 inch spacing between the labels for electronic sensing. - Label rolls must not exceed 12 inches in outside diameter, or excessive label waste will occur. - Maximum overall label height is 6.5 inches or 165 mm. - Maximum label width is 5.9 inches or 150 mm. - Minimum overall label height is 3\4 inch. - Minimum label width is 2 inches. - Center of label roll core is 3 inches in diameter. - Neck Labels or Cigar Band labels must have the "Tail" leading, and the "Bullet" trailing, also wound #3, outside right. Design compatability with chosen wine bottle must be confirmed prior to printing or application. - As stated earlier, this machine has an exit mounted linear vacuum belt. Please note, the rotary applicator cannot run simultaneously with vacuum belt mode. Again, label rewind for vacuum belt mode is still #3 outside of right. NOTE: Although this machine will apply virtually any size label, you must be aware that large labels will find the imperfections in glass wine bottles, which may cause puckering. For best results, multiple, smaller labels are recommended. NOTE: Please inquire with Signature regarding
clear film labels. These clear film substrates may require special sensors,
and or sensing marks, please submit samples no later than 60 days prior
to bottling dates for proper machine testing and compatability. Click here to download a printer-friendly version of this page. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here to download it for free. |
