Inverted Bottle Cleaning. Signature utilizes inverted bottle cleaning with Nitrogen to rid the container of any foreign matter, while simultaneously removing oxygen from the bottle, and replacing with Nitrogen.
Gravity Filling. Each bottle, already filled with Nitrogen, is filled under gravity, and gentle vacuum, allowing for an extremely gentle and low oxygen pickup during the filling process.
Auto Leveling. Each bottle is slightly over filled so our auto leveling device gently seals the bottle, pushes with Nitrogen, and levels each bottle to an exact fill level.
Corking under Vacuum. Each cork is compressed via a mechanical iris, to an exact 16mm diameter. While the cork is driven into the bottle, our system pulls a vacuum in the head space to ensure there is no pressure in the bottle as the cork is inserted.
Screw Capping. Our capping equipment is state of the art. Our capping heads create up to 400 lbs of down force to form and create the seal between cap and bottle. Then, mechanical arms with rollers within precise tolerances, gently form the threads and safety seal, for perfect capping.
Liquid Nitrogen Dosing. When screw capping, the proper fill level in the bottle is extremely large, leaving an enormous amount of oxygen hovering over your wine. With our Chart Liquid Nitrogen Doser, we can inject a precise amount of liquid nitrogen in the head space, which instantly turns to gas, eliminating all the oxygen before capping. We actually strive to leave a slight amount of pressure under the screw cap to force the nitrogen into the wine, thus, lowering the total oxygen in the bottle. This optional service, is highly recommended for your wines bottled under screw cap.
Foil/Capsule Spinning. Our multi head capsule spinners are capable of applying Tin, Polylam or Aluminum capsules for decorating the top of your bottles.
Labeling. Signature utilizes Impresstik Vacuum belt style labelers. Our labeling machines are very versatile and allow us to apply virtually any size or shape label to wine bottles. Please refer to our label specification sheet for printing, and technical information.
Bottle and Case Printing. Signature offers this unique opportunity to code each bottle with the date and time, to enhance your mandated, bottle tracking and security protocols. Optional Service.
